SPLASH & Paddle is a non-profit organization headed by Clarence Gardiner, Tom Gensel, and Doug Shimp, all American Red Cross Canoeing and CPR certified instructors who have dedicated their time and energy toward teaching and sharing their love of canoeing and kayaking with thousands of children and adults over the past several years.
The all volunteer group was originally organized to instruct water safety and canoeing and kayaking lessons for Girl Scout and Red Cross events.
When the group first started out, all of the canoes, kayaks, life jackets and other equipment was donated by the Gardiners, the Gensels, the Shimps and other volunteers.
Today, thanks to Bel Haven Paddlersports and many others who have contributed equipment, time and money, SPLASH & Paddle continues to provide Salem County's youth with a fun, safe environment to learn about water safety while having fun!
Join SPLASH & Paddle today! We hope that you will consider becoming a part of our group as a volunteer or a member or that you would be willing to become a sponsor. Simply call Clarence Gardiner at 856-769-1087 or click here to contact us.
